About Flip

My interest in health & nutrition began at 17 when I stopped eating meat.
I had no idea about the connection between nutrient rich food & health.
At 20, someone noticed I had a large goitre and at the same time someone else put 'Let's Eat Right To Keep Fit' by Adelle Davis into my hands.
I was overweight & low in energy. I read the book, changed my eating and in 2 weeks, the goitre was half the size, and over months, practically disappeared.
I've been a teacher of adults for 20 years, - Public Speaking, Stress Management, Time management, Possibility thinking, Women getting back to work & ELT for five years.
I'm passionate about wellbeing of people and planet.
  • 1983 - Co-writer of My Oath - a book of Positive Affirmations (Australia)
  • 1992 - Set up Mole Valley Speaker's club (with a little help from my friends)
  • 1993 - DTM with Toastmasters International Speakers Organisation
  • 1992 - present: Organic allotment gardener, growing fruit, veg, flowers, herbs
  • 1994 - 2001 Country walks column writer & guide
  • 1998 - Modules in psychology Guildford University
  • 2001 - Published "40 Walks In & Around the Beautiful Mole Valley"
  • Diploma in Naturopathic nutrition at CNM, London
  • Vogel's Bioforce Phytotherapy Certificate - Distinction
  • ITEC Massage Diploma - Distinction
