Travel to Leatherhead from London by public transport is easy. About 45 min by train.
By Train from London
There are two services from London Waterloo:
• Dorking via Epsom
• Guildford via Epsom
Windfield is 5 mins by taxi (usually available at the station)
or a 10-15 minute walk with one short uphill.
By Car from London
From London, the best route generally is down the A3.
Follow the A3 south, past Tolworth and Hook roundabouts, until you get into
open country. The next exit (after about 2 miles) is for A244 Oxshott/Esher exit.
Take this exit, turn left and head south through Oxshott.
Continue on the A244 towards Leatherhead (which becomes the A243
after a big roundabout by the M25).
[You can use the A243 from Hook roundabout, but the above is usually quicker,
especially when Chessington World of Adventure is busy.]
By Car via M25
Leatherhead is right on Junction 9 of the M25.
